STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS

Joint Activities- ATCE & Mudbug

We had around 50 students attend ATCE in Calgary, several of whom presented. SPE coordinated the trip and AADE and PET helped their members cover the costs of attending.

We got really lucky with Mudbug (co-hosted by SPE, AADE and AAPG) and were able to hold it on the last day campus was open before going remote. It was nice to have a last chance to see everyone before people scattered for who knows how long.

Bottom Right: The Henke family has made petroleum engineering a family affair. Megan ‘20 and John, sophomore, were inspired by their father Darrin’s work in upstream oil and gas. The family is joined by Katy Smith, EE junior, for Mudbug.
